A creator studio built around Claude, not bolted onto it

Free. Pairs with Claude Desktop — nothing else to sign up for.

DraftOS is a desktop companion for YouTube creators. Ask Claude to expand an idea, analyze your comments, or package a video for launch — the results show up live on your own canvas, instantly, with nothing to copy or paste.

Two downloads, about two minutes

DraftOS has two parts that work together: the desktop app itself, and a small extension that lets Claude Desktop talk to it. You need both — and you'll need Claude Desktop already installed first.

Step 1 of 2

Install the app

Download and run the installer — one click, no setup wizard, no admin prompt.

Download DraftOS-Setup.exe
Windows will likely show a blue "Windows protected your PC" screen the first time — this is normal for a brand-new app without a paid certificate yet, not a sign anything is wrong. Click More info, then Run anyway.
Step 2 of 2

Connect it to Claude

Download the extension file below, then in Claude Desktop go to Settings → Extensions → Install Extension... and select the file you just downloaded.

Download DraftOS.mcpb
If Claude Desktop was already open, fully quit it (check the system tray, not just the window) and reopen it afterward.

That's it — open DraftOS, and ask Claude anything. First launch walks you through adding a free YouTube API key (optional; everything else works without it).

Claude does the thinking. DraftOS is where it lands.

01

Talk to Claude, as usual

No new app to learn. Ask for a video idea, a comment analysis, or a title in plain language, right inside Claude Desktop.

02

Watch it appear live

Every node, note, or finding shows up on your DraftOS canvas the moment Claude writes it — no exporting, no refreshing.

03

Edit it yourself, too

DraftOS isn't read-only. Drag nodes, rename boards, tweak a title — your changes are just as visible to Claude next time.

Mindmap & Notes

Think out loud, on a canvas

A lightweight idea-web for brainstorming, and a heavier board for tables, checklists, and grouped notes. Ask Claude to "expand my thinking" and connected ideas branch out for you.

Comment Mine

Comments, turned into fixes

Claude reads what's new since your last check, finds the recurring themes and complaints, and shows what rose, fell, or got fixed since the last run.

Launch

A package per video

Scored title options, a description, tags, a pinned comment, and a thumbnail brief written against the images you actually dropped in — ready to paste to YouTube.

Channel

A memory that persists

Your niche, voice, audience, and what's worked live in one place, so every suggestion Claude makes is grounded in your channel, not generic advice.

Board

Ideas worth keeping

Scripts, hooks, and titles Claude saves after a planning session, kept in one place instead of scattered across a chat history.

Free, always

No account, no paywall

Everything above is free today and stays free. Optional YouTube stats need a free API key you grab yourself — nothing routed through us.

Install it, keep using Claude the same way
